Rating: A.M. Best has rated Ohio National with an A+ rating, its second highest rating out of 16 companies. Standard & Poor’s gives the company an AA rating (very strong) which is the third highest ranking on a 21 part scale. Moody gives Ohio National an A1 rating, the fifth highest ranking on a 21 part scale for insurance financial strength. These ratings have been reaffirmed for 2010 although the rating for the insurance sector as a whole has been negative.
